Israeli Forces Kill Palestinian Man in West Bank Raid
During a raid on Abwein, in the West Bank, Israeli occupation forces fatally shot 26-year-old Ali Muwafaq Muzahem. The town’s Mayor, Mahmoud Hamad, reported that Israeli troops sparked clashes upon storming the town, leading to Muzahem’s tragic death from a gunshot wound to the head.
Recent violence by Israeli forces in the West Bank also includes the killing of a 17-year-old in Meithalun and the arrest of two brothers in Beit Ummar. Settler attacks on Palestinian vehicles in Shuqba village were also reported, highlighting the ongoing aggression faced by Palestinians.
With over 700,000 settlers residing in illegal outposts in the West Bank, the Israeli government’s approval of thousands of new settlement units exacerbates tensions and violates international law. The closure of Husan village’s eastern entrance further restricts Palestinian movement, underscoring the oppressive tactics used by Israeli forces against the Palestinian population.
