Iran condemns Israel’s massacre in southern Gaza
Iran strongly condemned the recent massacre in southern Gaza by Israel, which resulted in at least 90 deaths. The Iranian Foreign Ministry called on Islamic countries to leverage their potential to stop these deadly attacks.
In a statement, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani described the missile attack on refugee camps in the Al-Mawasi area as the “latest crime” committed by the “child-killing Zionist regime.” The attack resulted in the deaths of at least 90 Palestinians and left about 300 others injured.
Kanaani criticized the silence of the international community and the complicity of certain governments, including the US and certain European countries. He emphasized that Israel’s actions would only lead to more global hatred and hasten its demise.
Iran’s President-elect Masoud Pezeshkian reaffirmed the country’s support for the Palestinian nation, praising their steadfastness and the bravery of resistance fighters.
Since last October, over 38,000 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks, with most victims being women and children. Tens of thousands more have been injured, displaced, and left homeless.
