Israel Accused of Spreading Fake News to Cover Up Attacks on Gaza
The Gaza government has accused Israel of spreading fake news to divert attention from its deadly attack on displaced Palestinians. The Gaza Media Office condemned Israel’s use of media deception and called on the international community to pressure Israel to stop the ongoing massacres.
The attack on displaced Palestinians’ tents in Al-Mawasi resulted in the death of more than 71 Palestinians and injuries to 289 others. Despite the claims made by Israeli media about targeting Hamas leaders, no evidence has been provided to support these allegations.
Since the start of the offensive, Israel has faced international condemnation for its brutal attacks on Gaza. More than 38,000 Palestinians have been killed, mostly women and children, and over 88,000 injured. The International Court of Justice has ordered Israel to halt its military operation in Rafah.
As the conflict continues to escalate, it is essential for the international community to take action and hold Israel accountable for its actions in Gaza.
