The body of a man was found 50 kilometers away from the site, sparking efforts to identify him. Search operations expanded towards the southern region, aided by improved weather conditions and cleared landslides on the highway.
Soldiers and police utilized rubber rafts, divers, and sensor equipment to locate the missing buses, while three survivors received medical treatment. Nepal’s treacherous rivers, heightened by monsoon rains, pose additional obstacles in the recovery process.
