Major Administrative Reshuffle in Uttar Pradesh
In a significant move, the Uttar Pradesh government has recently announced the transfer of several Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers across the state. Sonbhadra District Magistrate Chandra Vijay Singh has been appointed as the new District Magistrate of Ayodhya, while Nitish Kumar, the former DM of Ayodhya, will now serve as the Managing Director of Dakshinanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd.
Furthermore, Badri Nath Singh, who previously held the position of special secretary at the Raj Bhavan, has been appointed as the new DM of Sonbhadra. Nidhi Srivastav will take over as the DM of Budaun, replacing Manoj Kumar who will now serve as Secretary of the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission.
Other appointments include Divya Mittal as the new DM of Deoria, Indra Mani Tripathi as the new DM of Auraiya, and Prathmesh Kumar as the new vice chairman of Lucknow Development Authority (LDA).
This administrative reshuffle aims to bring in fresh perspectives and leadership to various districts and organizations in Uttar Pradesh.
