Vucic: No War with Bosniaks, Peace will be Preserved at all Costs

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić stated that his country will not engage in war with Bosniaks or fall for provocations. He referenced Chairman of the BiH Presidency, Denis Bećirović, who highlighted the dangers facing Bosnia and Herzegovina. Vučić emphasized the importance of respecting the territorial integrity of BiH and the Dayton Peace Agreement throughout his 12-year leadership.

He denied accusations of involvement in past conflicts, stating that Serbia will not resort to war and will strive to maintain peace. Vučić stressed the need to prevent a repetition of past atrocities, particularly in relation to the Srebrenica genocide. Despite pressure regarding the genocide resolution, Vučić stood firm in upholding the truth and maintaining peaceful relations with Bosniaks.

He reassured that Serbia will not be provoked into war, maintaining peaceful coexistence. Vučić emphasized the importance of economic development in areas with significant Bosniak populations. By prioritizing peace and stability, Vučić underscored Serbia’s commitment to avoiding conflict and fostering positive relations.
