PTI Suspends Membership of Firebrand Leader Sher Afzal Marwat

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has taken a bold decision to suspend the membership of Sher Afzal Marwat, a prominent party leader who recently won a seat in the National Assembly. This action came after a meeting between PTI founder Imran Khan and top party officials held in Adiala Jail.

Sources reveal that Mr. Marwat had been consistently violating party discipline by making derogatory remarks about PTI leadership. The decision to suspend his membership was made in order to uphold party unity and discipline. PTI emphasized that no leader is above the party and any violations of party lines will face consequences.

In the past, Mr. Marwat had stirred controversies by accusing the US and Saudi Arabia of conspiring against the PTI government. He had also criticized party leaders for depriving him of certain positions within the party, leading to his removal from important committees earlier this year.

Despite these actions, Mr. Marwat stood by his opinions, causing further rifts within the party. PTI’s strong stance against indiscipline reflects its commitment to maintaining a united front for its future endeavors.
