Born and raised in Tokyo to a Japanese mother and Australian father, her bicultural background adds a unique twist to her work in the cruise industry.
After studying at The American School in Japan, Kathy graduated from the University of Sydney and began her career at the Western Australian Government’s Japan Office. There, she focused on business matching for Western Australian lifestyle companies in Japan before moving to Melbourne to oversee sister city relationships with Osaka, Boston, St. Petersburg, and Thessaloniki.
When not promoting cruises or managing partnerships, Kathy can often be found sailing around Japan, ensuring guests have an unforgettable vacation experience. Her diverse background and passion for travel make her a valuable asset to MSC Cruises Japan.
