Iraq prepared to host Arbaeen walk in 80 characters

Get ready for the Arbaeen march to Iraq! Abdul Amir al-Shammari, Minister of Interior of Iraq, expressed excitement about the increasing number of pilgrims participating in the Arbaeen march each year. During a visit to the Shalamcheh border of Iraq with Iranian officials, he assured that all arrangements are in place to facilitate the movement of pilgrims. The Iraqi government is committed to providing transportation and health services for a safe pilgrimage experience. This year, pilgrims even have the option to travel by sea from Khorramshahr to Basra, a first-time initiative to ease the transfer process.

To ensure the safety of pilgrims, a network of surveillance cameras has been set up along high-traffic roads. With full security measures in place, Iran and Iraq are prepared to support the Arbaeen Hosseini pilgrims along their journey. Shalamcheh and Chazaba border terminals in Khuzestan serve as key crossing points for pilgrims from Iran and other countries, making their way to Iraq for the Hosseini Arbaeen rituals. The fourth of Shahrivar marks the beginning of this significant event on the official calendar of Iran.

Experience a seamless pilgrimage with enhanced safety measures and efficient services to support the Arbaeen march to Iraq this year!
