The covert operations of the US military have been uncovered as they fly unmarked planes from RAF Akrotiri to Israel in the midst of the Gaza bombing. The planes, mainly C-295 and CN-235 aircraft, are believed to be used by American special forces.
Declassified has revealed that 18 of these planes have made the journey from the British base on Cyprus to Tel Aviv since October 7, playing a crucial role in supporting Israel’s assault on Gaza. The UK government remains tight-lipped about US activities at Akrotiri, including the transportation of weapons to Israel.
These unmarked planes are linked to the US Air Force, with most flights under the call sign GONZO62. The aircraft are part of the 427th Special Operations Squadron, a secretive unit stationed at Fort Liberty in North Carolina.
Furthermore, marked USAF planes have also been spotted arriving at RAF Akrotiri, including massive C-17 transport aircraft from bases in Germany, Spain, and Kuwait. These planes play a key role in rapidly delivering military aid and equipment to the region.
