Supporters of the two rival Mas politicians faced off in La Paz

Rival factions of the governing party in Bolivia clashed in La Paz as supporters of President Luis Arce and former President Evo Morales clashed in violent confrontations.

The Movement Toward Socialism (Mas) is deeply divided between those supporting Arce and Morales, with tensions escalating ahead of the upcoming general election.

The brawl outside the electoral tribunal showcased the growing animosity between the two factions, stemming from Morales’ controversial bid for a fourth term and subsequent resignation.
