The intention is to counter the narrative of the prime minister and BJP which shows Rahul Gandhi as childish (balak buddhi) as well as woo youth voters

The Congress is expanding its digital footprint. Recent data released by Data Beings showed that the Youth Congress had a significant share of total users on social media, indicating efforts to target youth voters. The official Congress handle and Rahul Gandhi also received notable user engagement during a specific time frame.

During this period, the Congress launched an aggressive campaign to counter BJP and PM Modi’s attacks on Rahul Gandhi, who was labeled as ‘balak buddhi’ (childlike mind). In response, the Congress initiated campaigns calling the prime minister ‘bael buddhi’.

The objective is to challenge the image of Rahul Gandhi portrayed by BJP as childish and immature. By strategically engaging the Youth Congress and targeting youth voters, the Congress aims to change the narrative around the prime minister.

The Congress is utilizing various channels, including social media and YouTube, to amplify its campaigns. By countering the ‘Pappu’ tag with ‘bael buddhi’, they aim to gradually alter the perception of the prime minister.

Through targeted digital strategies, the Congress is focusing on capturing the social media narrative and appealing to young voters. This shift in approach indicates a deliberate effort to engage with the digital audience effectively.

By leveraging social media and digital platforms, the Congress is redefining its image and messaging to resonate with contemporary audiences. The party’s evolving digital presence signals a strategic move towards connecting with the tech-savvy demographic.
