Maryam distributes e-bikes to students

Exciting news from Lahore! Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz announced the distribution of 27,000 e-bikes to students on merit as part of the CM Youth Initiative. At a ceremony in Lahore, CM Maryam Nawaz emphasized the government’s dedication to providing essential resources to underprivileged students.

These e-bikes will be allocated through a merit-based balloting system, with the government covering half of the down payment. Monthly installments will not exceed five thousand rupees, ensuring affordability for students. In the next phase, the number of e-bikes will double, offering more students the opportunity for convenient transportation.

In addition to the e-bike initiative, CM Maryam Nawaz also announced the arrival of 27 electric buses in December to enhance public transportation. She expressed her commitment to providing laptops to students and revealed plans for a scholarship program worth Rs 25 billion to support children from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.
