According to the Euro news report, the government, bothered by the problem of migration and a decline in population in Italy’s Tuscany province, has made an excellent offer. It has been named Residency in The Mountains 2024.
If someone buys a house in this province, that person will get €10,000 to €30,000 (Rs 9 lakhs to Rs 27 lakhs). The number of people living at the place is currently 119. As the Tuscan mountains are considered one of the most beautiful places in Italy, the concept of ‘natural beauty’ is already present there. A house can be bought only for Rs. 90.
The administration has introduced this scheme to increase in the population in villages, where a house can be bought for just 1 Euro (Rs 90). There are also some conditions attached to it. The person applying for this scheme must be an Italian or a citizen of the European Union. The outstation people will have to procure a residential permit for 10 years. The government will be provided only 50 per cent of the money spent on renovation. The main aim of this entire offer is to make a rise in the local economy because the greater number of settling down people will automatically lead to an increase in employment.
