Israeli army strikes Hezbollah air defense, ammo in Lebanon

Israeli Army Strikes Hezbollah Targets in Southern Lebanon

The Israeli army announced on Wednesday that it conducted overnight raids targeting air defense facilities and ammunition for the Hezbollah group in southern Lebanon. The strikes hit two air defense facilities in Janta and Baraachit, as well as a weapons depot in Kafr Kila.

Israeli fighter jets captured footage of the strikes on the Hezbollah targets. The attack came after two Israelis were killed in a rocket attack from Lebanon on the occupied Golan Heights, which led to Hezbollah retaliating by targeting the Israeli army’s Golan Division 210.

Hezbollah claimed the attack was in response to Israeli aggression on the Beirut-Damascus highway and the killing of a senior Hezbollah figure. This latest incident adds to the escalating tensions along the border between Lebanon and Israel, with ongoing cross-border attacks between Hezbollah and Israeli forces.

The deadly offensive on Gaza by Tel Aviv has also contributed to the heightened tensions in the region, with casualties mounting on both sides. The situation remains volatile as clashes continue between the two parties.
