Islah Party accuses UAE of plot to control Hadramout valley district in Yemen

Islah Party in Yemen accused the UAE of trying to overthrow districts of Hadramout province controlled by the “First Military Region” forces in eastern Yemen.

The UAE reportedly sent new factions to strengthen the “Southern Transitional Council’s” control over parts of Shabwa, leading to concerns about further expansion towards Hadramout valley and Mahra province in the future.

Former Minister Saleh Al-Jabwani highlighted the deployment of new brigades in Shabwa, indicating a strategic move by the UAE beyond just military control in the region.
