Armenian Government Allocates 2.228B AMD for Subsidies in 8 Regions

In a recent government meeting held on July 11, the Government of Armenia has approved a draft decision to allocate 2 billion 228 million drams towards funding 26 subvention programs in 8 regions and 20 communities. Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures, Gnel Sanosyan, presented the project, highlighting the importance of the government’s commitment to supporting various communities.

Following this decision, a total of 12 billion 306 million AMD will be allocated for subsidy programs in subsequent decisions. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan emphasized the significance of not only funding projects but also ensuring their proper maintenance and sustainability. He stressed the need for clear actions and steps to address maintenance issues that may arise after the completion of these projects.
