Three Pakistan Army soldiers martyred in South Waziristan Encounter
A tragic incident unfolded in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s South Waziristan district as three brave soldiers of the Pakistan Army laid down their lives in a fierce exchange of fire with terrorists. The fallen heroes, Sepoy Asadullah, Sepoy Muhammad Sufyan, and Zain Ali, made the ultimate sacrifice while engaging the militants.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) informed that a sanitisation operation is underway to eliminate any remaining terrorists in the area. The sacrifices of these soldiers further strengthen the resolve of Pakistan’s security forces in eradicating terrorism from the country.
In a separate incident earlier in the day, a Pakistan Army captain, Muhammad Osama bin Arshad, was martyred in North Waziristan during a gunfight that resulted in the death of two terrorists. The surge in terrorist activities in KP and Balochistan has been a cause of concern since the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) ended its ceasefire with the government in November 2022.
