LASTMA launches 24/7 toll-free customer service center

The Lagos State Government has introduced a 24-hour Customer Service Centre to enhance the operations of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA). This initiative, spearheaded by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Transportation, Sola Giwa, aims to improve communication between the public and LASTMA, streamline traffic operations, and enhance the overall driving experience in Lagos State.

The Customer Service Centre, located at the LASTMA headquarters, offers dedicated toll-free hotlines, a walk-in complaint center, a website, a whistleblower app, and a new department of statistics, research, and data. Motorists can use the toll-free hotlines to report incidents, request assistance, or get updates on road conditions. The whistleblower app encourages everyone to participate in traffic management by reporting dangerous driving and other reckless behaviors.

The customer support centers also provide real-time updates on road conditions and traffic advisories, helping drivers plan their routes effectively and reduce travel time. The agency is committed to prioritizing public feedback and ensuring convenient communication for all members of the public.
