The U.S. Agency for International Development has been a key supporter of Armenia’s high-tech sector for the past twenty years, collaborating with both American companies and the Armenian government. According to the USAID office in Armenia, the head of USAID, Samantha Power, recently met with representatives from “Synopsys” and “National Instruments” to discuss their joint efforts in establishing a “Center of Excellence” in Armenia.
USAID emphasized their dedication to enhancing Armenia’s economic and digital security by investing in high-tech development. This partnership aims to foster innovation, create job opportunities, and strengthen Armenia’s position in the global tech industry.
By encouraging collaboration between international organizations and local businesses, USAID is paving the way for Armenia to become a hub for technological advancements. The establishment of the “Center of Excellence” signals a new era of growth and prosperity for Armenia’s high-tech sector.
