The Ministry of Water and Irrigation/ Water Authority of Jordan has partnered with the French Water Academy to enhance the skills and knowledge of its employees. The agreement includes training on operation and maintenance, water plant management, capacity building, and public safety.
This collaboration aims to improve the performance of the water sector by introducing modern international practices and boosting operational skills in various water facilities. The program will provide training to staff, departments, and companies to enhance their experience and efficiency in managing water resources.
The French Ambassador expressed his government’s support for Jordan’s water challenges and capacity-building initiatives. The advanced digital training platform will benefit technical personnel in the Middle East, aligning with Jordan’s efforts to implement the national carrier project.
In a separate announcement, the Ministry introduced text messaging services for private well owners to streamline water service procedures. This E-Service initiative aims to simplify transactions, provide flexibility, and keep users informed about water costs.
