The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Administrator Samantha Power is scheduled to visit Armenia from Monday to Thursday. This visit aims to strengthen the partnership between the United States and Armenia, affirm USAID’s support for the Government of Armenia’s reform agenda, and work towards enhancing Armenia’s resilience.
Administrator Power will engage with senior Armenian government officials, business leaders, youth, and media representatives to emphasize USAID’s dedication to bolstering Armenia’s democratic institutions and maximizing its economic potential for the prosperity of all Armenians. Additionally, she will meet with displaced persons to demonstrate US support in providing humanitarian aid, including psychosocial support, and long-term assistance to help them rebuild their lives.
This visit reflects USAID’s commitment to supporting Armenia in various aspects and signifies continued efforts to foster positive relationships and development in the region.
