German Voters Show Overwhelming Dissatisfaction with Government, Survey Shows
Recent data from the ARD-DeutschlandTREND survey has unveiled a shocking revelation – a staggering 81% of German voters are unsatisfied with the government’s performance. The current ruling coalition, known as the traffic light coalition, led by Chancellor Olaf Scholz’s center-left Social Democrats (SPD), the Free Democrats (FDP), and the Greens, has failed to meet the expectations of the people.
The survey, conducted from July 1-3, reported that not a single German citizen expressed complete satisfaction with the government, with only 19% stating they were somewhat content. The dissatisfaction rate soared to 81%, with 38% indicating they were not satisfied at all.
Furthermore, supporters of various parties, including the SPD, Greens, FDP, and CDU/CSU, admitted to being less than pleased with the coalition’s performance. The rise of new parties like BSW and the decline of established ones like AfD have also contributed to the upheaval in the political landscape.
