Hungarian PM calls for US, EU, China Unity on Ukraine: Media

Prime Minister Orban recently stated on Facebook that the resolution of the Russian-Ukrainian war lies in the hands of three major world powers – the United States, the European Union, and China. He emphasized the importance of their involvement in bringing an end to the conflict, in addition to the efforts of the warring parties.

Orban’s visit to Beijing comes after meetings with the leaders of Russia and Ukraine, where he discussed potential solutions and peace initiatives. He highlighted the necessity of US and EU participation in resolving the Ukrainian crisis given its impact on European security.

During his visit to Moscow, Orban engaged in discussions with Russian President Vladimir Putin on possible paths to peace in Ukraine. Subsequently, he held talks with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky in Kiev to further address the conflict.

Referring to his visit to Beijing as “peace mission 3.0,” Orban remains committed to facilitating a resolution to the ongoing war with the support of key global players.
