EFCC remains steadfast in the fight against corruption.

The newly appointed Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ola Olukoyede, has declared a steadfast commitment to fighting economic and financial crimes in Nigeria. During a visit by the National Association of Nigerian Students, Olukoyede emphasized the importance of holding leaders accountable and ensuring the protection of young citizens as they pursue education and future employment opportunities.

In an effort to engage the youth in the fight against corruption, Olukoyede urged students to support the EFCC’s mission and spread awareness across all states in the country. He also expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for initiating the Students Loans Scheme, which aims to enhance the prospects of students.

Despite facing threats from shadowy groups linked to individuals under investigation, Olukoyede remained resolute in his determination to uphold justice without any exceptions. He assured the students that all individuals implicated in corrupt activities will face legal consequences, as demonstrated by recent successful operations in Akure and Lagos.

Overall, Olukoyede’s message underscores the imperative of collective action in combating corruption and upholding ethical governance practices for the benefit of all Nigerians.\
