Armenia’s Economy Minister, Gevorg Papoyan, recently met with UAE officials during his visit to Russia. Discussions centered around potential cooperation in agriculture, export promotion, and quality standardization. The UAE expressed interest in being a co-investor in various projects and was particularly intrigued by Armenia’s proposal to create a “dry port” in Shirak Province.
Papoyan also highlighted Armenia’s Crossroads of Peace initiative, aiming to foster peace and stability in the region. This initiative is expected to benefit not only Armenia but also its neighboring countries. The meeting was productive, with both sides exploring opportunities for collaboration and partnership in various sectors.
