Iran’s president-elect Masoud Pezeshkian delivered his first public address after winning the country’s run-off presidential race, promising to fulfill his campaign commitments.
Speaking at the Mausoleum of Imam Khomeini in Tehran, Pezeshkian assured the public that he would uphold his promises and act truthfully in his new role.
Expressing gratitude for the nation’s active participation in the election, he outlined his plans to promote dialogue, unity, and solve various national issues across economic, social, cultural, and political sectors.
Recognizing the challenges ahead, Pezeshkian acknowledged the country’s current difficulties and emphasized the importance of passing through crises successfully.
He also thanked Ayatollah Khamenei for encouraging popular participation in the electoral process.
