He expressed his vision for the 21st century to be a time of progress and prosperity for the Turkic nations.
The summit, held in Shusha, symbolizes Azerbaijan’s successful restoration of its territorial integrity and sovereignty. President Aliyev recalled the liberation of Shusha in 2020 and the subsequent signing of the Shusha Declaration, solidifying the bond between Azerbaijan and Türkiye.
President Aliyev also shared plans for the Great Return Program, aimed at rebuilding and repopulating the liberated lands in Karabakh and East Zangezur. The Turkic Investment Fund and strategic partnerships in energy and digital infrastructure highlight Azerbaijan’s commitment to advancing economic cooperation within the Turkic world.
As Azerbaijan prepares to host COP29, President Aliyev extends an invitation to further strengthen international solidarity and cooperation. The signing of the Karabakh Declaration marks another milestone in enhancing unity and solidarity among Turkic nations.
