Former PML-N leaders Miftah Ismail and Shahid Khaqan Abbasi have officially launched a new party called Awaam Pakistan with a vision to provide equal economic opportunities and break away from hereditary politics. The party aims to address the challenges faced by Pakistanis and rebuild the nation without following traditional political norms.
Awaam Pakistan was introduced through a video shared on social media, highlighting the need for change in the country’s system. The leaders emphasized the importance of merit-based politics and outlined their commitment to improving education, reducing poverty, and enhancing opportunities for all citizens.
Speaking at the launch event in Islamabad, both Ismail and Abbasi stressed the party’s focus on serving the public rather than securing seats. They invited individuals who are willing to contribute positively to join their movement for a better Pakistan.
Awaam Pakistan promises a departure from traditional party structures and electables, aiming to attract individuals with the ability and influence to make a meaningful impact. The party plans to release a mission statement outlining its objectives and policies within the next few weeks.
