The European Union’s Foreign Policy Chief Expresses Regret Over Inaction in Gaza
EU Foreign Policy Chief, Josep Borrell, has expressed regret over the EU’s failure to influence the Israeli government to avoid the death and destruction in Gaza.
During the European Council on Foreign Relations meeting in Madrid, Borrell highlighted the EU’s lack of impact in the crisis, resulting in thousands of deaths in Gaza. He lamented the inability of the international community to achieve a ceasefire and pursue a political solution.
Borrell emphasized the importance of EU unity and credibility in response to the situation, acknowledging the need to prioritize human lives in conflict zones like Ukraine and Gaza.

With a rising death toll and widespread displacement, the situation in Gaza remains critical, calling for immediate action from the international community.
