A desperate search for a missing man is underway after a boat capsized on the NSW Hunter coast, throwing four men into the water near Channel Street in Swansea at around 7.50pm yesterday evening.
Passengers on a passing boat were able to rescue three of the men, while one was treated for hypothermia and taken to the hospital.
The search for the fourth missing man, aged 23, resumed early this morning with multiple agencies involved including Marine Area Command, PolAir, Westpac Rescue Helicopter, and Fire and Rescue NSW.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to contact police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
