The China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) recently celebrated the success of 190 Nigerian graduates who completed their studies as part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. The Chairman of CCECC Nigeria Ltd., Jason Zhang, expressed pride in the students’ hard work and dedication during a welcome ceremony in Abuja.
Zhang emphasized the importance of education in building great nations and highlighted CCECC’s commitment to fostering intellectual development in Nigeria. The Minister of Transportation, Sen. Said Alkali, also praised CCECC’s dedication to the country’s development, particularly in alignment with the National Local Content Policy for Railway development.
The graduates, who specialized in railway and transportation-related fields, are now equipped to contribute significantly to Nigeria’s growing transportation sector. Not only did CCECC sponsor their education, but the company is also dedicated to providing job opportunities within the organization.
Government officials, including the Speaker of the House of Representatives and the Senate President, commended CCECC for its contributions and encouraged other corporations to follow suit in investing in the country’s youth and infrastructure development.
