In Abyan province, tribes have given the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) factions four days to reveal the fate of kidnapped individuals. The tribes lifted armed points on the main road connecting Abyan and Aden, demanding information on their missing members, including Ali Ashal Al-Jaadani, a commander in Aden.

Eight suspects have been arrested in connection with Al-Jaadani’s disappearance by Abyan security forces. The tribes removed armed checkpoints out of concern for the people of Aden, who are facing difficulties due to the detention of fuel tankers by STC factions.

Al-Jaadani was abducted on June 12, allegedly by UAE-affiliated leaders. The tribes are seeking justice and transparency in the investigation to determine the whereabouts of their missing members.
