PARP Document Proposal for NATO-Brussels Meeting

Deputy Minister of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slaven Galić, recently met with Piers Cazalet, the director of the Directorate for Defense and Security Cooperation of NATO, during a two-day meeting to prepare the document proposal for the Planning and Review Process (PARP) for 2023. They discussed current activities and praised the efforts of all involved in drafting the proposal.

Both parties emphasized the importance of maintaining standards, developing operational capabilities, and achieving interoperability with NATO forces. The meeting concluded with both officials joining other representatives to finalize the PARP document, which will be presented at a NATO multilateral meeting in Brussels in October.

The meeting held on July 3 and 4 in Sarajevo highlighted significant progress in reaching partnership goals related to building integrity, cyber security, personnel management, and defense capacities. The Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina remain committed to achieving strategic goals for NATO integration.
