Heading a delegation, Mokhber embarked on a diplomatic mission to the Central Asian country on Wednesday. He is set to address the summit and engage in bilateral discussions with various leaders of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
Iran’s membership in the SCO was finalized during the bloc’s 23rd virtual summit in July 2023. This prestigious organization, headquartered in China, includes powerful nations such as Russia, China, India, Pakistan, Iran, and Central Asian countries like Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan.
The highly anticipated two-day summit will kick off in Astana, Kazakhstan, today. This gathering will mark the official induction of Belarus as the 10th full member of the SCO.
