Bagheri Kani highlighted the Zionist crimes against Palestinians and threats against Lebanon as evidence of certain countries seeking to instigate war and instability in the region. In response, Szijjártó extended his condolences for the tragic helicopter crash that resulted in the death of President Ebrahim Raisi and his team. He emphasized the importance of diplomacy in enhancing bilateral relations and welcomed further strengthening ties with Iran. Szijjártó also expressed hope for increased dialogue during Hungary’s presidency of the European Union and stressed the need to prevent further escalation of regional tensions.
