Tallinn – The President of Estonia, Alar Karis, recently welcomed Ayman Safadi, Jordan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, during his official visit to Estonia. Safadi engaged in discussions with various Estonian officials, including the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, focusing on enhancing collaboration in areas such as communications, information technology, tourism, and education.

The talks also addressed pressing issues like the Israeli aggression in Gaza and the need to establish a movement for peace based on a two-state solution. Furthermore, discussions touched upon the conflict in Ukraine, emphasizing the importance of respecting sovereignty and international law.

A memorandum of understanding was signed to facilitate political consultations between the two countries, signaling a commitment to strengthen cooperation. Safadi highlighted the shared interests of both nations in promoting economic ties and peace, while advocating for the application of international law in all conflicts.
