Tragic Incident: Brazilian Paraglider Dies in Shigar
A Brazilian citizen tragically fell to his death while paragliding in Shigar district on Thursday. The deputy commissioner confirmed the incident, stating that Raineri Rodrigo Chaddad began his adventure from a mountain in Askoli Shigar without the necessary permit.
The foreign tourist lost his life at the scene, sparking an investigation into the managing director of Alpine Adventure Guides Pakistan, the tour operator responsible for Chaddad’s excursion. Legal action has been taken for allowing the activity to proceed without proper authorization.
The victim’s body is scheduled to be transferred to Shigar government hospital today for postmortem examination. This unfortunate event serves as a reminder of the importance of adhering to safety regulations in adventure sports.
