Recent air operations conducted by the Turkish Armed Forces in northern Iraq have resulted in the destruction of 37 objects, including caves, shelters, warehouses, and facilities believed to have been used by a separatist terrorist organization. The Turkish Ministry of National Defense confirmed that the operation targeted PKK terrorist strongholds in Metin, Gara, Hakurk, Qandil, and Asos to prevent terrorist attacks on both the local population and security forces.
