Spanish authorities have cracked down on an international criminal organization that preyed on vulnerable Senegalese and Moroccan workers, exploiting them for profit. The group, known as “Bomvoyage,” deceived victims with false promises of decent work and accommodation in Spain, only to trap them in abusive and exploitative conditions.
The operation uncovered a sophisticated network that charged exorbitant fees for recruitment and coerced workers into signing exploitative contracts. The migrants, facing grueling working hours and illegal wage deductions, were left with meager earnings. The organization also profited from inflated housing costs and manipulated government subsidies.
Following raids in HellĂn and Alhama de Murcia, authorities seized incriminating evidence, including documents and financial assets. Collaboration between the Civil Guard and labor inspectors revealed widespread violations of workers’ rights, confirming the migrants’ harrowing experiences.
The organization’s leaders, masquerading as legitimate businessmen, now face justice for their heinous crimes. This crackdown sends a strong message that exploitation and deception will not be tolerated in Spain.
