Russia claims to have destroyed and damaged several Ukrainian warplanes in the past 24 hours, while Ukraine reports engaging in 136 battles with Russian forces on the frontlines.
The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Tuesday that they conducted cluster strikes on Ukrainian military airports using high-precision weapons, resulting in the destruction of five Su-27 fighters and damage to two others. Russian air defense forces also intercepted Ukrainian cruise missiles, guided bombs, rockets, and drones, as well as downing a MiG-29 and a Su-27 fighter.
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian General Staff stated that they had fought 136 battles with Russian forces, with six attacks launched towards Kharkov. The situation in Volchansk remained tense, but under control, while the direction of Pokrovsk saw the most intense fighting, with 43 Russian attacks repelled by the Ukrainian army.
