The PTI raised concerns over the allocation of reserved seats for the Sunni Ittehad Council, questioning the role of the top judge in the matter. The party accused the ECP of misinterpreting the apex court’s ruling, depriving PTI of its ‘bat’ symbol.
Despite facing challenges such as denial of permission for public meetings, PTI vowed to continue its political activities. Emphasizing the importance of upholding democracy and human rights, PTI welcomed international interventions that advocate for these values in Pakistan.
PTI also pledged to use legal means to secure the release of Imran Khan. The party criticized the government for violating international laws and emphasized the need for genuine implementation of human rights obligations. In a separate development, former PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry called for a reference against the CJP and CEC, alleging their involvement in election rigging and lawlessness in the country.
