Pakistan-India Champions Trophy match set for March 1: report

The Battle of Titans: Pakistan vs India Champions Trophy Match Scheduled in Lahore

The highly anticipated Champions Trophy match between Pakistan and India is set to take place in Lahore on March 1 next year. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has finalized a 15-match schedule with all of India’s games scheduled in Lahore for security and logistical reasons.

Despite PCB’s confirmation of the schedule, the Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) is yet to give its consent to the proposed plan. The tournament, scheduled from February 19 to March 9 with March 10 as a reserve day, will see intense competition among top cricketing nations.

India, along with Pakistan, Bangladesh, and New Zealand, is grouped in ‘A’, while ‘B’ comprises Australia, South Africa, England, and Afghanistan. With the final match set to take place in Lahore, cricket fans are eagerly awaiting the clash between these cricket giants.

ICC officials have been in discussions with PCB about the logistical arrangements and security measures for the tournament. All eyes are now on the BCCI as they consult with their government before confirming their participation in the Champions Trophy.
