Tragic Kidnapping: Bandits Kill Judge’s Son, Demand N300m Ransom
Bandits have struck a devastating blow in Kaduna State, killing the eldest son of a judge of the Kaduna State Customary Court, Janet Galadima. The bandits have demanded a staggering N300m ransom for the release of the judge and her three other children who are still in their custody.
The CEO of the House of Justice, Gloria Ballason, revealed that the judge and her children were abducted by the bandits on Sunday when her husband, a medical doctor, was away on duty. Despite the efforts to secure their release, the bandits took a sinister turn by shooting dead the 14-year-old son when the ransom couldn’t be met.
Ballason, a human rights lawyer, condemned the attack and called on security agencies, the government, and legal bodies to urgently intervene. The Kaduna State chapter of the Nigeria Medical Association also expressed shock at the incident and pleaded with authorities for swift action.
The family, desperate for help, shared their harrowing story in the hopes of raising awareness and gaining support to bring their loved ones home safely. As the situation remains dire, the community awaits a response from the authorities to end this calamity.
