US Arms Suppliers Boycotted for Gaza Killings
The US gun lobby’s justification for American gun ownership has led to accusations of genocide and war crimes in Gaza, pointing fingers at Israel and the United States for the humanitarian crisis.
A group of UN human rights experts is now calling out US arms manufacturers like BAE Systems and General Dynamics, urging them to halt arms transfers to Israel immediately, citing violations of international laws and complicity in potential genocide.
Dr. Ramzy Baroud emphasizes the need to name, shame, boycott, and hold these companies accountable for their role in the ongoing violence in Gaza. Norman Solomon adds that the massive profits from arms sales to Israel perpetuate mass murder.
Financial institutions investing in these arms companies are also urged to take action to prevent further human rights abuses. Journalists, human rights defenders, and lawyers play a crucial role in documenting and reporting on the devastating impact of these weapons on civilians.
