President Bola Tinubu has appointed Hajiya Salamatu Ahmed as the new Executive Secretary of the Federal Government Staff Housing Loans Board (FGSHLB), replacing Alhaji Ibrahim Mairiga who was on terminal leave. The announcement was made by Dr Folasade Yemi-Esan, Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HOCSF), and an appointment letter was handed over to Ahmed.
Ahmed, previously the Board’s Director of Operations, was urged by Yemi-Esan to use her experience and skills to achieve the Board’s objectives effectively. This change comes ahead of Mairiga’s tenure expiration in September.
Addressing the media, Director of Communications, HOCSF office, Muhammed Ahmed conveyed the message of the new appointment. The HOCSF congratulated Ahmed on her new role and expressed confidence in her ability to contribute significantly.
