Shocking Incident: Dacoits Steal Parts of CT Scan Machine from Sindh Government Hospital

In a surprising turn of events, dacoits managed to steal essential parts of a CT scan machine and other equipment from a Sindh government hospital in Liaquatabad, Karachi. The stolen components, including wiring, circuit, UPS, batteries, and more, were taken from the Advance Trauma Centre, which had cost over Rs 10 million to install. This theft has disrupted medical services, forcing patients to seek CT scans from other hospitals.

Additionally, an investigation into the incident was halted by influential figures, raising questions about accountability and security measures in place. In a related incident, a fake doctor was apprehended at Karachi Civil Hospital. The imposter, identified as Abdullah, had infiltrated the hospital while posing as a medical practitioner. His deception was uncovered by vigilant security guards, who handed him over to the authorities.

This alarming trend highlights the importance of stringent security protocols and the need for strict monitoring to thwart criminal activities within healthcare facilities.
