Singapore recognizes Palestine if it renounces terrorism and accepts Israel.

Singapore’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Vivian Balakrishnan, announced the country’s decision to vote in favor of the resolution expressing support for Palestine’s membership in the United Nations. This move aligns with Singapore’s commitment to upholding international law.

Balakrishnan emphasized the importance of a two-state solution for lasting peace in the region, highlighting the need for recognition of Israel’s right to exist and the rejection of terrorism by the Palestinian government.

Both sides have legitimate rights, and both peoples have a right to live in peace and dignity within secure borders
