Exciting News: Glass Train Project Approved to Boost Tourism in Murree!

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has given the green light to launch a tourist glass train project between Rawalpindi and Murree. This initiative aims to enhance the tourism experience in the region and attract more visitors to the popular hill station.

During a meeting held in Murree, the chief minister also approved several other development and beautification projects for the area. The government plans to engage international consultants to oversee the execution of the glass train project and beautify the hill station.

In addition, a decision was made to remove high-rise hotel buildings that obstruct the natural scenery of Mall Road Rawalpindi. The construction and expansion of the old Rawalpindi-Murree-Kashmir Road was also approved.

Furthermore, plans are in place to eliminate hotels around the GPO chowk and restore old buildings in the area. With hundreds of thousands of tourists visiting Murree annually, these projects are set to enhance the overall tourist experience and preserve the natural beauty of the region.
