Disturbing reports have emerged from Bahawalpur, where five individuals were accused of gouging out the eyes of a man during a brutal torture session in village 13-Soling. The victim, Sufian, allegedly faced this horrific act after being accused of stealing a donkey cart.
Despite sustaining severe injuries, including complete vision loss in one eye and severe damage to the other, Sufian was admitted to Bahawal Victoria Hospital for treatment. His attackers were swiftly pursued by law enforcement, with one suspect, Iqrar Hussain, already in custody.
In a separate incident, an anti-terrorist court handed down a death sentence and a hefty fine to Raham Ali for a fatal acid attack on Muhammad Nazim. While Raham Ali received the ultimate punishment, his co-accused Zahra Bibi was acquitted of the charges.
These acts of violence shed light on the brutality that persists in some communities, emphasizing the need for stricter law enforcement and vigilant community support to combat such heinous crimes.
